MAGNETIC LABORATORIUM is a New York & Paris based Inter-media and multidisciplinary art group who collaborate in the conception, design, development and production of cinematic media art concepts in the context of site-specific situationist installations. Magnetic Lab was co-founded by Merce Cunningham dancer Jean Freebury and multimedia artist Marisela La Grave, New York City 2001, Associated artists include other members of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Independent New York City and Parisian artists as well as Robert Wilson collaborators from the Watermill Center. Since 2001 and under the artistic direction of Ms La Grave the group along with its core and associated artists and collaborators, have created a wide range of performative based transmedia innovations.
